Colts-Chiefs Preview

There are a lot of hidden daily fantasy sports gems in the Colts-Chiefs game this weekend. The obvious names are already there; Luck, Charles, Wayne. We know these guys because they’ve been making a huge impact all year but there are several players on these teams who haven’t gotten much attention this weekend that you might want to keep your eye out for. If you’re running back situation has gotten desperate this week during the championships you could always turn to Vick Ballard of Indianapolis. He’s not great by any stretch and he doesn’t get many touchdowns but he is the number one rusher for the Colts and at this point in the season you can’t afford to be picky. Same goes for T.Y. Hilton, the rookie Colts receiver. Hilton isn’t quite lighting up scoreboards yet but this kid has the potential to be a daily fantasy sport stud for years to come.

The quarterback situation in Kansas City will limit the effectiveness of any Chiefs player this week so make sure you take that into account when you look at KC players. Dwayne Bowe has even been affected by it in daily fantasy sports and he’s been steady for years in Kansas City. He’s fallen off the radar a bit this year but this matchup shouldn’t pose too much of a problem for him. Tony Moeaki may miss this game and if he does Jon Baldwin may be a good start in daily fantasy sports. He plays a hybrid tight end/wide receiver position on offense which could allow him to exploit some of the weaknesses in the Indianapolis defense. These aren’t big name guys but fantasy games aren’t won by name alone. If you’re troubled by your lineup this week and you have nowhere else to go consider this game and these players.
